About Florence and Kristin

They first met at North Shore Community College, in Danvers, MA. where Florence was teaching Creative Dance and Kristin was teaching music courses.d Florence also was choreographing for the North Shore Civic Ballet. Kristin, a flutist, was a member of the Putnam Court Musicians, a chamber group performing frequently in the area.

Where they began

Intellectual curiosity and a deep interest in the Arts took them on similar paths. AEventually they team taught a course, Art & Perception, for a number of years at the college. AIt became their habit to explore new ideas together.

Florence and Kristin have been practicing Reiki since 1988.A Trained in Traditional Usui Reiki by John Harvey Gray, they helped establish a Reiki clinic and began an extensive apprenticeship before eventually becoming Reiki Masters.

Their work

In addition, Florence is in charge of the day clinic at Union Hospital in the Healing Atrium.
Kristin, in charge of the Union Hospital Evening Reiki Clinic, developed a Certificate in Wellness and Healing Arts for North Shore Community College in 1997.
