Our
first clinic in Salem was established in 1989 and has been
in constant operation since that time. The Lynn Clinic at
Union Hospital was begun in 1997.
Our
clinics, run on a non-fee, donation basis, are staffed by
qualified and dedicated Reiki 2 practitioners who help to
guide our Reiki 1 students as they, in turn, gain experience.
Since no practitioner is paid, all those who participate
come only because:
-
they love Reiki.
- they
truly wish to help others in need.

Those
who receive treatments come for a wide variety of reasons;
ranging from needing assistance to alleviate the side effects
of chemotherapy and/or radiation, relief from pain, lung
disease, heart disease, etc., to those needing relief from
stress or a simple boast of energy. Our clinics are centers
to expand horizons, to share information and ideas. They
are places where distance treatments may be requested and
where students and clients can get support in times of crisis.
At the clinics the work is considered sacred, the atmosphere
one of peace and love.
